video trailer for PowerPoint User Days 2009

Two months before the PowerPoint User Days – October 25th until 27th, 2009 in Fulda/Germany – take place, we produced the first video trailer for this event and put it on the anwendertage.de website.

The video effects are made in cooperation with Elmar Strotmann using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. The music was specially composed by Alexander Semrow for the user days.

A few days ago I participated in an Adobe/Layers Magazine contest titled How Photoshop CS4 Saved the Day. I do this from time to time not hoping to win anything, but whatever … Likewise from time to time I take a look at my spam folder and: Surprise! Yesterday I received a mail with a winning info from the above mentioned contest. I do consider now to buy a ticket for the italian national lottery (with a 149 Mio Euro jackpot).

Personas is a component of the Metropath(ologies) exhibit, currently on display at the MIT Museum by the Sociable Media Group from the MIT Media Lab. It uses sophisticated natural language processing and the Internet to create a data portrait of one’s aggregated online identity. In short, Personas shows you how the Internet sees you.
